Opening Day in the Bronx looked a little different in 2025. Since the 50 year beard ban was lifted, the Yankees could rock “well-groomed beards”. And since the Bronx Bombers were spoken for, Philips Norelco sponsored the 8 million + fans instead.

We set up “The Beardber Shop” at fan’s favorite bar, Stan’s. Fans got shaped-up and some even shaved pinstripes into their beards. True fandom. Philips also made sure they stayed well-groomed all season long by giving away codes for Philips OneBlade. The most talked about invention this season, outside of torpedo bats…

And if you’re wondering, yes I shaved pinstripes into my own beard.
